Cabinet Refacing in Chattanooga

Cabinet refacing, often provided by Barra’s Cabinet Refinishing, is a renovation method that can give your kitchen or bathroom a fresh and updated appearance without the need for a complete cabinet replacement. The key difference between cabinet refacing and cabinet refinishing lies in the extent of the transformation. While refinishing focuses on restoring the existing cabinet surfaces, cabinet refacing takes the process a step further by replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, providing new and customized options to enhance the look of your space. This approach allows homeowners to keep the cabinet frames intact while achieving a stylish and modern makeover.

Cabinet refacing is a fantastic option for those looking to transform their space without the expense and disruption of a full cabinet replacement. Barra’s Cabinet Refinishing allows you to achieve a "new cabinet" look by replacing cabinet doors and drawer fronts while keeping the existing cabinet frames. Whether it's kitchen cabinet refacing or bathroom cabinet refacing, this method offers a cost-effective and efficient way to revitalize your space and tailor it to your design preferences. So, if you're in search of a new and exciting look for your cabinets, consider the advantages of cabinet refacing.

Kitchen Reface Transformation

Affordable Kitchen Upgrades in Chattanooga, TN

For this cabinet refacing project, everything is new except the cabinet boxes. All of the cabinets were given a factory finish. We did a new Beveled Shaker profile with all new doors with soft close feature and drawer faces. New custom drawer boxes with soft close guides were built and added in. The old crown molding was removed and we installed a beautiful cove molding crown. The hood was refaced with a red oak trim and we added in red oak corbels on the back of the peninsula all in driftwood stain. Inside a few of the cabinets we did custom rollouts with soft close and painted front to match the color of the cabinets. The island was wrapped completely around in new panels. The color used for the cabinets is Benjamin Moore HC-169 Coventry Gray.
